Subject: Wahoo! Week of miracles and accidentes!

Hi family!! haha. Wow this has been quite a week.

I have been fighting feeling of discouragement this week, trying hard to keep the excitement up. Last night, I found myself wondering if I would be able to see fruits this change. we have been working so so hard, but we have just have a really hard time helping people to progress. I am three baptisms short from my goal and I had been praying so hard to achieve it. Just when I had convinced myself that I just would be a seed-planter this change, I received an email from HermanaJones, my great companion from La Serena. She wrote me and told me that our converts Carla and Pablo will be going to be sealed in the temple the 16th of June! My last week in Chile! And Hermana Jones will be flying to Chile to be in the sealing!! Also, Juan Munoz, a convert in our branch will also be going to the temple. I have been praying so hard for them. I thought they weren't going to make the goal, but they are all set! I may not have 3 baptisms this change, but 3 people will be going to the temple!! God really does answer all prayers doesn't he.? Haha now I need your help praying that Presidente Gillespie will give us permission to go toSantiago to accompany them :)

Also, This week we FINALLY after so so so much patience, we put a baptismal date! Wow. I have never tried so hard to put a baptismal date. We were looking through the area book this week and I remembered an former investigator, Juan Moreno. We went to his house and he let us in an said that he was waiting for us to come back. He thought we had forgoten about him. We taught him about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and invited him to be baptized with a specific date. At first he said no. We tried to find out what his doubt was. We kept teaching about the holy ghost and he about 5 minutes after, he interrupted us and said "you know what? I think It could actually work out for the 5 of july. lets put it as a goal" We were so so so happy and shocked! I really saw that the holy ghost was working in him, softening his heart and testifying about the importance of baptism. So many fervent prayers, asking to be able to put a fecha were finally answered!

Also, Monica Chilcumpa from La Serena came to visit me! she is doing so great :)

Also, this week, I fell HARD and scraped up my knee and elbow haha (side note to Lisa: it was like that girl who fell while we were doing hurdles...) haha . Also, it rained on us all weekend long, and no one opened the door to us. haha but we were happy walking thorough puddles in our rain boots. haha We learned to makeSopiapillas... lots of fun events!
