Subject: Hola!

Happy Monday!
It sounds like you all had eventful weeks! Me too! Life is a lot more exciting with adventures huh? I am glad to hear that there were no accidentes in that car accidente!

This week we saw SO many miracles! Hmm where do I start? Well let me tell you about Eliana. She was definitely was a miracle! Hermana Garcia and I went to an appointment but they weren't there, so we went to visit a couple other investigators, and they weren't their either! As we were walking, we walked past 6 HUGE MANSIONS, (they are antique, beautifully restored houses) My companion said, "Hey, lets knock these doors" I laughed and said, yaah, but if you want let's do it! ( knowing that only on rare occasions, rich people let us in to their houses) So, we said a little prayer and started knocking (or rather yelling ALO) haha. The first door that opened a very angry woman came out and yelled at us. We moved on the the second door, and knocked. A woman came out with a surprised look on her face and said "Come in!" As we walked in, she told us, "I only let you in because you guys came at Exactly the right time." She explained to us that in the very moment that we knocked, she was finishing a prayer asking God why there is so much suffering in this world. As she finished her prayer, we walked in to the picture. She told us that she was pretty freaked out, but that she knew that God was answering her prayers. As we taught The Plan of Salvation, she told us that she understood why we have to pass through trails, and how Jesus Christ suffered all pain and sadness so that he can help and succor us. He loves us so much. It was such an amazing lesson!

Also this week, we found an investigator named Andro. He showed up to church and told us that he almost got baptized a year ago, but that he got scared, but that he is now ready to make a commitment with God. He accepted to be baptized the 29th of Abril. How excited huh! He is basically golden! Hermana Garcia and I have had our fair share of challenges here, but God is blessing us for our obedience and diligence. All blessings are predicated on our obedience to his commandments. We can never be obedient with out receiving huge blessings!

Also, at testimony meeting yesterday, Maria Paz shared her testimony in front of everyone and said that this is the true church and that her life has changed so much during her conversion. After her testimony,Andro applauded haha. It was pretty funny/embarrassing because President Gillespie was there. I think that Maria Paz might be closer to getting baptized. She always has an excuse why not to do it, but her testimony was so strong and beautiful. I know your prayers will help! Pray for her!

Also, this week we did a service project cleaning up garbage (because Chile is FULL of garbage, no one knows how to throw trash away.) We had the yellow "Mormons Helping Hands" aprons and everything. It was pretty fun. While we were cleaning, we found a little bit of everything! From old photos to a dog skeleton.

Anyways, I love you all! Have a great great great week! I hope to hear about all of your adventures next Monday!
Be good this week!

Hermana Royal
