Subject: Howdy from the countryside of LIMACHE

Hola familia!!
Well, I guess I should break the news to you all...
I LOVE LIMACHE!! I have to admit, I thought the beach (Vina and La Serena) were the most beautiful places in the world, but who knew that they countryside is SO BEAUTIFUL. Seriously, there is something magical about the countryside. I haven't had time to take pictures yet, but I want to paint the picture for you: Rolling green hills, tomato fields, people riding their horse pulled carriages, wild spring flowers, and it always smells like freshly cut grass! And I'm not even exaggerating. haha I seriously feel so blessed to be here! I feel like my heavenly father is taking very very good care of me. And to make things better, this months is the day of Independence of Chile so there are Chilean flags on every house and we are going to be dressing in the traditional dresses of Chile to learn to dance the Cuaca (the traditional dance of Chile.) Seriously, I feel like I am living in a dream!

And to make things better, I LOVE being in a trio! Seriously, this week has been the funnest and funniest week of my mission! I am with two of the world´s sweetest girls! Hermana Solano is like a big ball of energy and sunshinehaah (She was Hermana Ellsworths trainer) and Hermana Arcos is probably the worlds most loving, caring person. Every morning, one of them prepares breakfast for me. I keep trying to find ways to serve them, but they keep beating me too it! Haha I seriously am so happy with them! They are both going to finish their missions within the next two changes (one this change, and the other the next) So we are all charged with excitement and committed to work so hard! Seriously, I have never talked to so many people in the street or worked with so much diligence, but it feel so so great!

Because there are only 3 of us, we merged two sectors into one, so our area is Gigantic! And the best news is, WE GET BIKES! WAHOOOOO. But it's a little of a challenge to ride in skirts, but its a dream of mine fulfilled! Seriously I am enjoying my mission to the Maximo! hahah We are also trying some new creative ideas. For example. we are walking around with signs tied to our backpacks. Mine says "Why does God permit that there issuffering and sadness? ASK ME!" Hermana Solano´s says "How can you receive forgiveness for your sins? ASK ME!" And Hermana Arcos says "Do you need to baptize your little children? Ask me!" haha we are getting a lot of people asking us! It is a great way to call attention.

Also, yesterday, we had such a cool experience. We were heading back from a meeting in the Stake Center and we had to take a train/metro to get to Limache because it is so far away. We decided to sing for all of the people (like 70people) during the journey. So I stood in the central and said "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, we aremissionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ and we would like to lighten your journey with some songs We hope you pay close attention to the thoughts and feelings that come to your heart." So we began to sing! First, Familiescan be Together Forever, then I am a Child of God and then Love at Home. Seriously, the Metro filled with such a sweet spirit. At first, people seemed bothered, and annoyed, but we watched as their looks of disinterest turned into smiles. We watched teenagers take their head phones off to listen and we watched couple scoot a little closer or hold hands. Afterwords, we said "thank you, we aren't asking for any donations, but instead we hope one day when we knock on your door you let us in to sing you another song!" Seriously, It was such a special experience. It filled us with so much excitement and energy! I love love love being a missionary!

Also, so many funny things have happened this week. I think in the country side, the people are a little more unique.haha we have seen two grannys fighting, and a little boy of 7 years old has fallen hopelessly in love with me. hahaHe is always trying to attack me with kisses haha. His mom always says, sorry but he really likes blondes. ahah Oh and yesterday we contacted and started to teach a Catholic Priest (Father Ulyssis). And even more strange, he tried to kiss me! I thought Catholic priests were supposed to avoid that stuff haha. Oh And.. We have a pet dog namedBurmudes. he has been accompanying the missionaries here for 15 years. Haha he is a legend in the mission.

So basically its been an amazing week. We are spending a lot of time finding new people, talking to everyone in the streets, working with members to receive referrals and visiting old investigators from the area book, but we are really finding great people who are going to get baptized in this change! It is almost like we are starting from scratch, but I feel like it gives the Lord more of a chance to direct our paths. I seriously have so much confidence in him. I am learning to pay closer attention to the thoughts he puts in my mind and I am learning to recognize more quickly the spirit! I think we would all be very surprised to see exactly how involved he is in our lives. I know with all the confidence that I have, that he loves us and that he is deeply involved in our lives, and specially in his missionary work.

Here is my challenge for you this week: Remember how I challenged you all to invite someone to listen to themissionaries before Christmas,? Well, I have a tip for how to do it! Each of you need to write on a peace of paper all of the nonmember friends and family members and neighbors that you know. Then everyday, pray for them one by one, asking that the Lord to help you to know what to do. I promise that the Lord will put thoughts into your mind of little things you can do. Maybe it will be a phone call, a text message. Maybe you will feel that you need to invite someone to a mutual activity bring a dinner to a family. I don't know, but the Lord does and he will put these ideas in your mind. If you act on them.. you will find ways to share the gospel! I promise! This is the program that our mission president as asked us as missionaries to share with the families of the ward. He has promised us it is the key to success. So USE IT!! Yay! haha

Ok, I love you all. It is a beautiful day of sunshine and a light breeze. We are finally past the cold winter days! Yay! I am ready to tan. haha But seriously, thank you for all your prayers and thoughts. I am so happy. I can't imagine my life without a mission. I can't imagine my life without Chile! I think I will convert to Chileanism. Haha I love this country. I love these people. I love LIMACHE! I love all of you! be good this week!

Hermana Royal

Ps. GOOD LUCK TO AMY This week! You will be in my oraciones!
