Hola mi Querida Familia y Amigos!

Greetings from Valparaiso! OH Boy, I am just so so happy! Can I just attempt to tell you how much I loving being a missionary!?? Can I just try to express how much I Love VALPARAISO! This city was made for me, or maybe I was made for this city. I'm not quite sure which one, but I can assure you, I am happy here!

Hermana Mamami and I had a GREAT week! She is just so sweet and so Chickitio! (tiny) She is a couple inches shorted than my shoulder haha but I love her so much! I just cant figure out why the Lord has put me with the BEST companions. Seriously, each one of my dear companions have been PERFECT for me. I know that the Lord knows me and had all of this planned out way before hand. The Only bad news is that with just a itty bitty companion, it made transfers with my BIG suitcases a little complicated. haha We had to lug these suitcases ALL around town and up the stairs of a bus and back down and then up the 4 flights of stairs up to our apartment. haha it was brutal, I am still hurting. but we got all settled in and we are doing great! And it was worth it because the ocean front view from our apartment is Breath taking!

Let's see, some things to note. I am in Gran Bretana, a branch here in Valpo and it is tiny! There are very few members, but they are strong and they are very excited to help us! We are also in a very different part from Limache, so all of the old techniques are not working, so we are being creative! Each week, we have free Aerobic classes for the public and lots of people show up! We are also starting a free ceramics class which is great because everyone is so artsy here! We are also in the works of starting up a Art Exhibition in the Church building. It's great! I feel like I am finally using my talents and passions like I should. Oh, God just knows me so well! Speaking of which, let me just tell you about the Architecture here!! Oh I feel bad for my poor companion because I am always teaching her about architecture and talking about how amazing old architecture is. Some body pinch me, I think I'm dreaming...

Anyways, when I arrived, the Hermanas here had just had a baptism 2 days before so basically there aren't any other investigators accept for Karen and Nicolas. (by the way, they are a tender mercy) They are getting married and baptized in January! Remember how sad I was about Faboila? Well, what a tender mercy, we are still going to see a wedding/baptism this change!! What a miracle! They are just amazing. She has basically had all of her teachings and is just so excited, just like Fabiola!. It is an example of the Law of Restoration, if we work hard and leave fruits in one place, there will be fruits waiting for us!

Also, this week, I was praying hard to know how we can find new investigators. In Limache, almost all of our investigators were from talking to people in the street. But that just wasn'tworking here, its a whole different breed of people. During my prayer, I felt so strongly that we needed to us the Area Book for past investigators that never progressed. We made a list of these people and this week alone, we found 11 new investigators from doing this! If we look for revelation about how we can see success, we will find it!!

I am just so happy! I love you all so much! Have a great week! Try to stay warm while I am soaking up the cool beach sun! haaha jk
