Hola Familia y amigos! Buenos noticias... ME QUEDO! or in other words, I´m here to stay in La Serena for another change! Haha. I am so glad, because really, I am not ready to leave the Promised land here in Brillador. Haha. I´m here for another change with Hermana Rivera and we are both ready to sacar la mugre (basically translated as kick butt) here in La Serena hah. This week has been a great week, like always, but this week we really had our testimonies stregthened that the Lord always fufills his promises! This change, Hermana Rivera and I worked so hard to get people to attend church. It proved to be our biggest challenge in the last change. Everyweek we would organize everything so perfectly so that members would go by the houses of each investigator to bring them to church and we would be waiting in the chapel and only one or two would show up. After many prayers, this Sunday we saw that the Lord was fufilling his promise to us as we had 6 investigators in the church! It was awesome.

Also, this week we had another AWESOME experince with Guillermo. Let me just tell you... this investigator is GOLDEN! I don't remember if I talked about him before, but we found Guillermo about 2 weeks ago in the street with his family. We started talking to him and took down his address. This week he accepted a baptismal date for the 6th of August, but yesterday we moved it up to the 30 of July and he accepted! His daughter Samantha and her husband who lives in aonther city but who is visiting also accepted to be baptized. Last night he told us that he has been searching for the truth for many years and never could find it. Though he was very active in the Catholic church, he never could quite understand the traditions. He told us we are the angels who brought him the truth. It was a very humbling experience to see that people truly are searching and searching for the truth but don't know where to find it. Please don't hesitate to tell you friends and loved ones that you have it!

Also, I got my package this week!! Thank you so so so much! I love all of the suprises inside, especially the photos! And the Plan of Salvation puzzle! Thank you so much. I have already used all of the things that you´ve sent me! SO THANKS! I hope you enjoy the photos!! I love you all so much.
