3 Baptisms

Subject: Hola HOLA

Hola mi Querida Familia!!
Let me just say that this past weekend was probably the best weekend of my life!! Why you ask... 3 Baptisms and a Wedding!! haha De Verdad, I have never been so happy in my entire life than when I watched Eliud, Carla and Pablo enter the waters of Baptism. hah. The week leading up to Friday and Saturday was NUTS! We were running all around town, organizing the Baptismal service, assigning talks, finding white clothing for a woman who is 8 months preggo, organizing the Reception for Carla and Pablo, Basically, the next time you attend a baptismal service, give the Missionaries a hug, because the are probably overwhelmed... haha But all of our hard work and stress paid off, more than we could have ever imagined.
I really can´t believe Eliud is finally baptized. That boy was a tough case. Hermana Jones and I thought it would never happen. It is interesting to think back 6 weeks when Eliud yelled at us that he didn't want anything and stormed out of the room, but I know that the Lord has working with him and he is going to be a strong in the church!
Carla and Pablo are another story :) They make me so happy! During their Confirmation blessings, it was very clear that the both of them have a great future ahead of them. I know for certain that they are going to be leaders in this ward and that in one year, they will go to the temple. I don't have a doubt in my mind. It was also a very touching experience to see the Relief Society sisters working together so hard to organize the wedding reception for Carla and Pablo. It really was Relief Society in action! During the reception, both families of Carla and Pablo approached us and said they have interest in our church. I think they saw the the Love and service of the relief society sisters and recognized that this church is different than the rest. Remember that people are always watching! As you serve those around you, they will recognize you as disciples of Christ!
The only sad news I have to share with you all is that yesterday mi querida Hermana Jones finished her mission left to return to the USA. It was so hard to see her go because I love her so much. (Though she did leave me with all her clothes...) I am anxious for my new companion Hermana Riveras, I know that it will certainly be different, but at this point in my life, I know that the Lord is directly involved in who my companions are, so I'm not worried.
Yesterday and today it has been POURING rain. It was funny because during lunch, the family was talking about how it NEVER rains her in Le Serena, but 6 hours later, the Streets were transformed into rivers. Haha it was quite the adventure. Sometimes I cant believe I am a missionary.
I Love you all so much! Thanks for you support, prayers, emails, letters... They are all GREATLY appreciated.
I hope you enjoy the Photos!
