So the last couple days have been an emotional roller coaster for me. It all began Yesterday as I attempted to turn on my computer and I got the "gray screen on death". This is basically means that your computer has crashed. Fun right? So I try to compose myself (tears may have been involved since I am completely unprepared for a hard drive crash and I would inevitably loose mucho musica) and I set off on a frantic dash around provo/orem to see if anyone can can help me- alas, no help.So today I drove to Salt Lake City during my lunch break to the only Apple store in Utah and crossed my fingers that the Mac Geniuses could solve my predicament. After a hour drive and a long wait, the friendly and attractive men at Apple worked their magic fingers on my poor, little mac book -- A little rebooting here, a little resetting there [they make it look so easy] and Voila! my computer is fixed for free! Apparently there was a glitch or something in the programming. Needless to say, I will be purchasing a hard drive for the future.
But wait, there's more: last week Apple gave me a free, yes free battery for my laptop. Free of charge, no strings attached.
So thank you, good people of Apple. I am a loyal customer for life.
Also check out this funny link on how you can dress like a Mac- because really, they have such good style.
